“Light is the most important person in the picture” – Claude Monet

Luminous and transparent, watercolors enchanted me from a young age, conjuring light through white paper and washes of color.

A painting must evoke a feeling. The feeling I want to evoke is the joy of being alive, of being transported by a winter sunset, a ray of light through the forest, reflections on blue glass, or a rosy radish that crunches at first bite.

To express this joie de vivre and evoke a similar feeling in the viewer, I use bright and transparent colors, primary and secondary complementary colors, inspired by Nature.
